The Art > Watercolor Paintings

Each watercolor begins as a pencil drawing on watercolor paper. I then build upon the drawing by applying paint through various traditional techniques.

I often apply the paint with as little wetting medium or water as possible. This allows me to create highly detailed works with an intense and wide range of color. My preferred watercolor paint is Winsor & Newton.
